The majority of traditional Harely Riders wouldn't accept the Vrod, they'll never buy the livewire.

What are the odds that it would be an oil cooled 107 motor? Kw not cubic inches lol.

The rebellious spirit and easy handling allow the rider to control the power of the bike, making it the best streetfighter for the urban jungle.
Energica Eva has a permanent magnet AC (PMAC) oil cooled motor that produces 107kW (145 hp) of instantaneous power and a torque of 148 ft lb.

The electric streetfighter has a range up to 125 mi (ECO mode) and can reach a top speed of 125 mph in Sport mode.

Eva’s battery, inverter, charger and ABS are constantly monitored and managed by a sophisticated Vehicle Control Unit, like Energica Ego.
Energica Eva does not have a gearbox or a clutch.

Everything is regulated through the ride-by-wire system, allowing you to control the acceleration and deceleration of the motor with the integrated regenerative torque braking fully adjustable by the rider. A coasting feature is provided as a “neutral” position between acceleration and regeneration.

The electric streetfighter is fully compatible with commercial recharging stations or can be charged at home. Energica Eva is the only electric streetfighter in the world with an integrated fast charge system on board.

You may have to clip playing-cards on each wheel so as the spokes went 'round, folks could hear you coming.

(and yes, I know this is a troll thread...sigh)

I know a guy who has a softtail that has issues in the rain. Perhaps it's an extension of this idea. Maybe the OP is thinking if regular bikes have trouble in the rain, maybe an electric one would be the same or worse.

Its pretty stupid to generalize from one bike.

While I don't disagree with this, people still do it all the time. I was only speculating on what the OP might have been thinking. It could also have been a completely different reason.

i was parked on the side of the road a few summers ago up in the hills and saw an electric motorcycle go by. The only noise was the chain. Creeped me out, its not right. MC should make noise.

I really like that Harley concept dirt bike they showed sketches of this year and would buy that if it's not insanely priced but I'd never want an electric street bike.

More like 5 years and at least 25% of the bikes on the road will be electric. I don't think much will change with the MoCo; their bike will be 25% overweight, 25% overpriced, but will command 25% of the electric bike market.

Well, I think that'd kind of the point. Its not for anyone who would be posting on HD forums, they're trying to attract new, young, urban customers.
