Default Really dude, what's with all the oil stains?

This one showed up on my local for sale listings. I'm like, really dude move the bike if that is where you did the oil change at least.......come on man!
Not a selling feature for me.
Cheers!

Looks like water spots to me. He likely just washed the bike and all of the water hasn't dried yet.

Yep my guess is he just washed it then pulled it out to that spot for some pics, looks like it was taken on the street in front of his home. I do get what the OP is saying, a lot of folks would probably see the add and question if that was oil

I'll take oil stain/leak(s) over ape hangers any day of the week. I've had to sort out all kinds of wiring, brake line, clutch cable and various other kinds of mechanical douchebagery for friends who bought used bikes from people who should NEVER touch the lid to a tool box. One ape hanger genius I had to follow cut the wiring for the handlebar controls, added wire and butt connected them.

i use butt connectors all the time. Not for apes but for explosives. The only time ive ever seen one fail is if not clamped properly. The 3m scotchlocks are unbelievably reliable and waterproof. Not for me when installing apes but i wouldnt be pissed about it

A quality flawless photo is in a sellers best interest when your looking for a sizable return on your investment.

Agree w/others, bike's not leaking oil (wash water drips), but it does look bad in a FS/ad pic...IMO.

Looks to me like those spots have been there for a while. Maybe he just wasn't paying attention when he parked.
