Default Chaps zipper extender

Has anyone found a zip in zipper extender for leather chaps? The legs on mine are too tight with my winter gear on. I have found some zipper extenders for horse chaps but they are all too long. Anyone found a solution?

If you can't find one on the web then I'm sure any good cobbler that does shoe repair could whip a couple up for you. Heck, you could contact our own Capt. Itch. He's member and vendor here and I'm sure he'd be glad to help you out.

Hey Man has given you a good idea. If that doesn't work, PM me as I have a pair of horsehide chaps that fit my largeness. I can send you pixs.

oil them up with shoe grease or shoe oil and wear them a lot. maybe they'll stretch out some. leather should be oiled up once in awhile anyway. the other option could be to take them to a shoe repair shop and see if they can move the zippers some.

How 'bout a cheap pair of shoe laces, cut to length? Black of course.
