I'm not sure why a "vent kit" would solve a fluid migration problem. Unless the seal on the transmission output shaft isn't correct and this is the work around. Otherwise, how does the fluid migrate? It has to pass through that seal, right? is there another path? I'm looking at the service manual on this and that's all I see. The TSB also requires an oil slinger to be removed from the transmission side. I wonder if they believe this is pressurizing the transmission oil thus pushing the oil to the primary? Again, the lip on the seal should prevent this. Is this vent just a work around or a root cause fix?

The oil is traveling through the transmission main shaft which is hollow and allows the clutch push rod to pass thru. The theory is that the primary is under a vacuum and is pulling the trans oil thru, and if you vent the primary then the oils will stay separated as intended.

Hmmm, so the secondary clutch actuator that pushes the push rod doesn't have an "o"ring on the housing to prevent oil going down the push rod? I can see the business end of the pushrod (primary side) needs to be wet. The parts manual doesn't break down the clutch actuator assembly. I guess I need to tear one down to see what is really happening...

Nope. If you read all the different threads about this you could learn a lot, and see all the pictures you need to understand it.

Here's what I am looking at. Part 33 is the secondary clutch actuator that pushes the pushrod to actuate the clutch. The gear pack shaft is one piece with a hole inside of it for the push rod to pass so oil can only enter from the ends. Correct?

Seal #9 keeps transmission oil from entering the primary oil on the outside of the shaft.
