I am pretty neighbor friendly and respect that my bike is pretty loud.

At work I have an assigned space that is under cover and there are apartments over head, I come in at an idle back in an shut it off. Quite often there is someone from the apartments parked in my spot which marked as my business spot 24/7. Last week I come in at 7:00 am someone is in my spot again, I roll on the throttle and make some noise and park my bike on the street. Later that day I pull the bike into my now open spot at an idle. Well out pops some lady telling me how my bike shakes her whole apartment when ever I pull in disrupting her sleep and business and she will contact the landlord. I say ok do what you need to do.
The next day I pull in and guess who I see coming out getting into her car parked in my spot, you got it same lady. So I approach and remind her that the spot she is parked in is my reserved spot and would really hate to have to tow her car. She get angry and tells me she is allowed to park there because she lives in the apartments. I point out the sign that say reserved parking (business name) 24/7 that she is parked under. My how her tone changed.

 

But that sign doesn't apply to her, you big meanie!

That is the main reason I don’t have any one towed. Whether it is my bike or truck I don’t want either messed with.

 

Typical California liberal, rules apply to you but not me. That's why I moved from there.

 

I don't think it only applies in California, nor to just liberals. people just suck.

 

people just become complacent. The sign has been there so long you don't even notice it.... It's just below the sign that says "This building structure contains materials known in the state of California to cause cancer."
