The 32nd annual Donnie Smith Bike/Car show is tomorrow & Sunday in St. Paul, Mn at the Excel (Hockey) Center. I'll be headed there for a good time & a beer. Again this year riding there ain't an option due to Weather. Custom bikes, swap meet, old cars upstairs, and old friends If you've been there you know. Go.

How far away from there do you live?

Supposed to be mid-50's tomorrow, I'll be riding...but I'm not that far...may or may not take in the show.

I'm 75 miles west of Mpls. near Paynesville. Haven't had the bike out this spring. Still got 7' of slush in driveway.

just go to PD Pappys on Sunday afternoons in summer, you'll see the same bikes for free....and some hot chicks

 

I agree. But not this coming Sunday. PD Pappy's is under 3' of water. I did make it to Donnie Smith on Sat. Lots of people there, it gets better every year. I wish I could've ridden to it.

 

yea they are, typically don't open until mid/late May. Will see this year.

should get a group up there some Sunday for a beer/drink sometime once weather nice.

The Defrost Your Nuts run is around the corner 4/13. Any of you riding?

 

I love the river road though the Flood Run crowds can be prohibitive. Have you seen how Maiden Rock has gotten going southbound mid-day? If I'm free would consider it.

Also, have ridden thru Payesville quite a few times. Spicer has or had a cool bar right on the lake there, Ripleys? cannot recall name. It may be named something else now. Always on the search for a new patio to have a drink on
