Default Man the dealers down in Florida like their glides

Im down here 2 weeks and been to 3 large dealers like cristal HD . And 90% of the new bikes on the show floor are street or road glides . And 90% of all the used bikes are the same glides . I guess all the old guys that move to Florida must have money .

It’s a very long state and most people ride distance. Baggers are where it’s at here.

Probably have payments and not money. There are smoking deals on slightly used late model bikes. With the used HD market the way it is, it is foolish to buy new.

I paid $25k for my ‘15 SGS, put another $5k into it and hasn’t turned 5,000 miles yet. I’’m selling it soon and will probably take the first $16k that comes along.

Same out here in the cornfields. Long stretches of highway dotted with tiny villages with nothing but farms in between, basically what the bagger was made for. Nothing but glides at all the local watering holes and on the dealer floors.

Yep in iowa I bet 85-90% of the bikes youll see at dealerships or at bike nights or whatever are a street or a road glide. Long distance cruising is the only way to have fun out here riding.

If you have ever been in Florida during "love bug" season, you'd understand why fairings and windshields are the norm.
