I am taking my wife for her maiden ride tomorrow. We've been married 31+ years and all of sudden she's decided she wants to ride with me. Wish me luck!

My wishes are with ya The wife and i have been riding together, pretty much 20 years now and dont regret a moment of that. When we first got together she had never drove, but had been on the back. She took the course and then started on a 97 heritage. We are now running a pair of street glides and we have logged a pile of miles together. She is a great riding partner, no waiting for people to show and then need gas and so on, before u even start. I hope all goes well for u and the wife and enjoy as many miles, as i have with mine.

 

I've found by holding the shift from 3rd to 4th will create a good buzz in the seat. My wife caught on.

I hope she loves it and you two have a great ride. After many years of riding with me my wife decided to ride her own. That was about 12 years ago. She started on a 1200 Sporty then went to a Softail. She bought a brand new Deluxe 5 years ago. It is great having a built in riding partner.
