Default riders in shorts

this isn't about ATGATT.
I don't GAS (nor should others) what you wear or don't wear.

I'm curious if you ever burn your legs when they're off the pegs/boards at a stop (or backing into a parking slot)
I know I'd have welts on the exhaust side.
and my pant leg gets pretty hot against the primary sitting at a light

I wore shorts a few times after getting my Softail. After the 2nd leg burn on the exhaust, jeans have been worn.

I think I wore shorts once or twice, hit the exhaust once & that is the end of it
Usually will not let anymore ride as a passenger w/shorts or without proper footgear
But a small tight skirt, well that's different

Look at it this way, you'll soon learn where that pipe is!

I prefer extra medium shirts.

I've never worn shorts while riding for this very reason.

I don't GAS what anyone wears when they ride either, but yesterday saw a fellow on a BMW with full gear up top, jacket, helmet, gloves, and on the bottom half, shorts with loafers, and booty socks, just had to chuckle.

I wear shorts probably more than I wear pants on my bike. I have never burned my leg on the pipe or any other hot part because I know where the hot spots are and I an not an idiot.

I’ve worn shorts on the really hot/muggy days and have been able to avoid the hot spots. Maybe lucky but the legs feel better in the breeze.

Not me in N. Idaho. Get too many Yellow Jackets everywhere as it is. Don't need them up my drawers.
