Default Moving to Elizabethton or Bluff City Area of TN

Looking at properties in between Elizabethton and Bluff City Area of TN and already researched the important stuff ie., hospitals, stores etc.. I'm trying to find any "biker" friendly establishments and any useful information someone might have to offer.

Many Thanks in advance for the insight..

Best way to get a bikers attention is go on FB post your address and tell them there is free beer and boobies.

Sorry that's the best I could do from here.

Good spot, plenty of friendly establishments. Some will have specific recommendations as a relative newcomer I don’t know any one that stands out. Enjoy!

For your question I would join Motorcyclist Maps on Facebook. Seems to be quite a few riders from Tn.

I used to be close to there just over the border in N Carolina. There are a lot of biker friendly places all around that area. You should check with the Harley Dealer in Johnson City they always have events going on.
One of my favorite rides was the Roan Mountain loop that took me through Elizabethan, Erwin and Flag Pond.
Its a great area to live.

I've been considering that area when I retire in a few years. Subbed to see what is around...

I've been looking to buy Elizabethton area for a couple years. The housing prices are reflecting the fact that many folks are moving into the area. Used to be reasonable, but now those housing prices are only slightly less than the Raleigh/Wake county area for comparable housing. I also require space for my RV so I need at least a 1/2 acre, or more, without a HOA.

My retirement plan is to relocate to TN, with a winter place in Florida in my RV.

I have a nice place I can afford, in the Raleigh NC area, with a 30x36 shop and space for my RV, so I'm spoiled now.

.
Indeed. My realtor is telling me that all those folks who came out for the "county" are realizing that shopping and all the amities are too far for them and now are selling as well. I sold my property and livestock in AZ to some folks who wanted to live the cowboy/country lifestyle in June of 2021. According to a friend, they just sold it all last month. I sold because Crazy Joe was ousted Maricopa turned blue but I can afford to retire in TN and keep my house outside of DC if I choose too as well

That is a pretty good area of TN. Lots of good riding in that area, Roane mountain has already been mentioned. Most of East TN is biker friendly.

All of East TN is seeing a surge in population growth. This is driving the cost of homes and land up.Its also making our roads more congested.
