First I’ve heard of it. A ballast and a strap? Hope the solution works and looks better than it sounds.

 

My Opinion:

I think anyone buying a "first year" Harley - ESPECIALLY a CVO, (and considering all the changes THIS year) with any expectation that it will not have these pains, sinply does not have a relatable cognitive capacity.

The interesting part to me they sold 1,463 CVO from release to October 5th as bikes produced since the 6th of October have the fix. Given they shipped 23,781Grand American Touring bikes in Q3 this puts them possibly at just around six percent of shipped bikes.

 

Over 100 mph?
Anything 26+ over the limit is aggravated speeding (misdemeanor), so why would HD be liable anyway?
Don't fix it. Then you'll have an excuse.

 

There are highways out west where 80 or 85 MPH speed limits are common. I usually ride 80 to 90 mph on my interstate travel days where Im logging hundreds of miles a day and still auto's will pass me like its nothing. Putting a bike out that crashes due to instability at high speeds is crazy.

 

I get it. I know some of those highways.
My 30 year-old Evo...121 and still pulling (NOT a regular event). I hear those new ones handle better.
You got to leave something for them to scoop up and bury.
