Anyone have ideas on where/how to mount this Gerbing controller on a Dyna?

My initial thought is to glue neodymium magnets on the back of the controller and attach to either the tank (if the body work previously performed hasn't covered the metal on the tank) or the left side coil cover.

 

I asked a similar question and a smart person on this board told me it goes in the lower left inner zippered pocket of my heated vest.

I put my controller at the end of my tank. I used Velcro to attach it,

 

Do yourself a huge favor. Buy the wireless remote. They work GREAT.

You can leave that bulky controller in the pouch of the jacket and just have the small controller taped or zip tied to your handle bars.

My wife and I went with the remote a couple of years ago and don't know how we lived without it.

My Gerbing controller has a hook on it. I hook it on my right coat pocket. My battery wire comes out of the right side cover. I sit down and plug in the wire. When riding I can reach over with my left hand and adjust. (Or my right hand if the cruise is on!)

 

I have this also. I'm guessing now with the controllers - it's one (my picture) or your picture of the wireless controller.

 

This is what I did, and regret not doing it soon enough. You will love it.

Also this what I did. I have double sided velcro and I leave my wireless remote on the tank. I love this set up.

For years I had wired remote and I hated it.
