So what's the point? If Harley dies, it dies. My life won't change and your life won't change. There are countless threads on this same topic. OMG, dealerships are closing. OMG, Harley sales are down. Who gives a sh*t ? Not me. Do you? If so, why? Harley has already been brought back from the dead once.

Nice cafe racer. Bars are a little low for me. I'm 67 and I find as much fun on a Duc Monster 1200 as I do a Low Rider 117. Just different flavors of fun. You have to keep the old man out as long as you can.

I like it
Appears it has the handling components.
But competitive? The engine (performance) may be an "Achilles Heel".
Yet, as a co-member mentioned above, people don't go to Harley to buy a sport bike.
I still like it.

I think that is a sharp bike and I bet it would sell well.
I'm old, but I am also an old Sports bike guy. I like it. As for seats - I love single solo seat bikes. You're not touring on a rocket bike - you just ride it and you ride it solo. I hate having a pillion on a bike ride, any bike.

1) what handling components do you speak of?
2) it probably has 121HP. what other cafe racers are you comparing it to?
3) H-D needs to fix that

The Pan Am ST is listed at 150 HP, so it should have at least that. The Buell Super Cruiser is listed at 175 HP.

Harley teased us (or just me) with this modern interpretation of a VR1000 Harley race bike. If Harley makes a sport bike it needs to have a fairlng, can't be a naked sport bike.

Key is Harley needs new bikes to attract the younger crowd but also the great number of riders who do not want a bagger and this includes many outside the US. Heck I still laugh when I watch a motorcycle review in the UK or elsewhere in the EU and they complain that a BMW tipping the scales at 550lbs or more is heavy... Harley is like hold my beer. The point I am trying to make is Harley cannot just push out one bike and get anywhere. They need a full line up across a few displacement ranges that share accessories and the like. Meaning, pick and engine for each displacement category and try to build two or three bikes on that then the next displacement size up uses similar styling cues and a bit more features and so on. Look at the Pan America, many ADV riders if they move up in size are going to stay with the brand they know which means for Harley to truly have sales hopes for the PA they need to get the riders in on smaller displacement version. Oh, and last thing Harley needs to do is listen to any of the bagger bros who parrot the line "I won't buy that" because no one cares, they got you already, the point is to get the people they have been missing out on. Lets just hope your attitude doesn't drive them off because some of ya'll are damn good at that.

I imagine the focus group that envisioned the disaster known as the "Street Series" used that blueprint ^
