Default Would Upgrade To A 1200 Sportster

My 883R is great, but I felt in love with the new 1200 Roadster. Hope to buy one soon.
What do you think about this new model? Do you like the new style and colours?
Would you buy a 1200 Roadster or do you prefer another 1200 model?

I like all Harleys, Sportsters, softails, dynas...I have a 05 1200C. Why not just rebuild you engine to 1200 and save yourself some bucks unless your just wanting a newer bike.

I've thought about that, but with the new you get the heads and everything. Different tank too,you can go more than a hundred miles

I'm very happy with my 1200C. I don't have F.I. but pulling out the choke and letting it warm up for a couple minutes doesn't bother me. And yes the 4.5 gallon tank is nice. On my older sportster I had a peanut tank and was always looking for the next fill up.

I have an 05 1200 C and love the laid back, relaxed riding position. I don't pull out the choke and let it warm up for a couple of minutes. I pull out the choke and gently ride away adjusting the choke inward as I go for the first mile or so.

I've got an '05 1200 Roadster and love the bike! Looks, sounds and performs great and is a blast to ride. If I didn't want to go long distance touring next year I'd never have considered anything else. Get whatever bike turns your crank - you only go around once.

If you like the peanut tank look try to find a 07 sice the 08's have the 4.5 gallon tank and lose the look they had. If you are happy with your bike other wise just with the exception of power get the 1200 kit if there is no more warranty.

I don't like the 2008 Roadster. If you want the larger tank buy the custom or low.
