Harley Junk Yards , Who would of thought !
There was a time when Harley parts were like gold , And there was no such thing as salvage yards as they exist today. If there was awreckedHarley to be found , it was inside information that only a select few knew about.... And it was snatched up quick.... WOW , How times have changed................ The market is flooded with parts and whole bikes like never before. Just look at this forum alone , and then times it by a thousand or more for all the listings on other venues........There is literally tons and tons of Harley **** to be found....
Makes me wonder where it will all end..........?????

That's how I got mine. I bought a whole bike from Alex at http://www.cyclesalvage.net/. Had it shipped to me and spent the winter rebuilding it with ebay parts and the local HD dealership old parts sales. I wanted a full dresser but just couldn't justify spending over $20k. I've got maybe $8k in including paint. I think it's a great idea.
