What ever you come with would make me nervous because of the added leverage you are going to expect the bolt to hold.

I hope its not to late to advise you. I just fitted tool boxes to both sides of my 07 flstc. I had to buy extension bars according to the parts manualwhich are a heavy hex shapedblack painted bar. Not necessary! After the fitting they looked really odd and too far out so I pulled them off and put the standard pegs back on as usual. As the tool boxes are out further obviously the pegs won't fold up but by simply tightening the peg bolt while the peg is in the fold back position (towards rear wheel)not in the typical up position, theproblem is solved. They look much better and the peg tucks under the tool boxnicely.
The passenger who is rarely there anyway is not affected as the peg still holds total weight forward and downward. Too easy. I bought the boxes from Zanotti's and good people to deal with, quick and informative.

An old girl friend use to burn her boots on my exhaust all the time so I used a longer bolt and a plastic spacer. (91 Softail) It was cheap and worked well. Didn't look to bad either.
