Just can't decide
Still looking for that second gift for hubby.
Down to 2 things....
[ol][*]Joe Rocket Super Ego Jacket (strips from leather to Mesh)[*]Heated vest and armsor afull liner (I was considering the Widder. I saw someone wearing the vest and arm heatersthe other day and really liked the styling, and it looked to be of good quality.[/ol]
Now living in CA I'm thinkingI should just go for the Mesh (he really likes my switchback).
But...He has a pair of heated gloves already (Think they are Gerbing's) -- he likes the heat but not really impressed with the gloves as far as fit and finish. He used them onour vacationin Sept because he finds his hands get really cold and numb fast in the cold. Most of us Californians (not all) are wusses -- but seriously 40 degrees in CA can feel like 20 else where. My daughter actually confirmed that when she went east for a week. I turned down the Gerbing'sdue to fit...I could feel the wires and found them uncomfortable. So far I have not been cold enough to need heated clothing. The only time I have been overly cold was when I was not prepared for it (but then the coldest has been mid-40's)
Sorta like the idea of the Joe Rocket jacket because he is the first person to strip off his jacket or wear something lighter with no protection.
What do you think?
