My last bike was carbed, and I miss the simplicity of it...I don't know **** about EFI, but I have to say, I've never seen a rider&nbsp\\;on the side of&nbsp\\;the road because the EFI went out...just sayin...

I have, and plenty of times, I'll say this too, out of all my bikes, my Pan never broke, period, and never left me stranded.

The Evos have provent hemselves over time. Like most changes, there&nbsp\\;was resistance but they did their suty will will continue to do so. I wonder how the loyal felt when Pan when to Shovels?

As for the carburator, they work - but I'm sold on EFI. For the right bike at the right price at the right toime - I owujld go with a carb without hesitation, but if all other things were equal then I would chose injection.

We have 2 of each. Nothing at all wrong with an EVO and if I had to choose just one it would be a stage 2 EVO with a Mikuni carb and an Andrews EV27 cam with torrington cam bearings. I don't know how long (how many miles) the EVO will last but I'm betting it will outlast a twinkie.
