Default Flag poles

I've used the plastic mounted flag poles and just don't care for them, looked at the metal ones at the dealer and they didn't have the one that mounts to the square tube luggage racks like mine. I'm only using the 18" X 12" flags (American and MIA/POW) and would like some suggestions of connecting to either the backrest support or the luggage rack.

Go to the Patriot Guard Riders website and have a look at the preferred vendor for flag ploes. There's great models including a best in class expandable one that'll fit in saddle bags.

For small flags, I like these guys. VERY inexpensive, fast shipping, and a quality product. I mount mine to my sissy bar. I cna unscrew the pole and the mount is barely visible.

I use this flag on my bike with the Harley Sport Rack.
Just make sure your rack is .6 or 9/16 inches thick..and you are good to go.
Seethe picture of my bike.

The flag is replaceable.
Hope this helps.

no suggestions per se. i have seen several who used clamp on fishing rod holders obtained from sporting goods store sticking the flag shaft in there and securing with zip ties. Protocol wise, bear in mind that the American flag shall be displayed centered on the bike or to the riders right as seated on the bike.
