family is the worst when it comes to working together because every body is right /wrong

Grow up--- and do it your self. I lost my Dad 30 years ago and been doing on my own since I was 18. I'd love to be able to just talk to him. People like you don't know how fortunate you are. You sound like a spoiled brat who sees his Dad as a punk peer and not your Father.

 

Went through the Alzheimer's thing with my dad, wish he was still around to **** me off. Sometimes we don't realize what we're missing until we don't have it anymore.

 

Mechanics & engineers have been at odds forever. The engineers put it on paper & say it will work, but leave it to the mechanics to MAKE it work.

That said, my Dad's been gone for nearly 20 years & when I asked him how to fix something, he not only told me, he SHOWED me. I was only 23 when he died but he taught me a lot & made me a good mech. before he left.

Sorry you & yours don't work well together.

Agree!! Could never understand the people that goes on those idiotic tv shows like Springer and Povich and tells the world their personal hangups.

My dad passed 1 month ago and wish I had him back and could take back every unkind word I ever said to him.

 

I wish I had my Dad here to hear him tell me to put this here put that there, dont do it that way ETC. ETC ETC. You get what
I mean. Some day you won't have your Dad. Come back here after a year of not having him around. You'll change your tune.
I can almost bet on it. Then again you might have some inner issues that need to be addressed.

Sucks when tempers fly between family. My brother and dad are pretty close. Me, well, not so much. But we all play together pretty well now.
That being said, working with my brotherprobably couldbe tough enough some days, working with my dad I won't even attempt. We all get frustrated pretty easily so there would definately be a bunch of bickering.

 

I never got past "******** old man". I don't care to hear anything you had to write after that phrase. Grow up.
