Right hand falls asleep
#61
There's a possibility you have herniated your C5/C6 disk in your neck. Next time your hand goes numb, try moving your head around to different positions to see if you can make it better or worse (most likely, tilting your head far back will make it worse).

I haven't had the surgery, yet, but I find if I'm gripping the throttle too tightly, the angle my wrist is making with my arm (the flatter the better), and apparently even if I'm holding my elbows up even a little bit versus letting them hang naturally, I'll get it really bad. Sometimes I don't think I can move my thumb enough to hit the turn-signal switch, change radio bands or set the cruise control which is the best thing for it. As soon as I can flex my fingers and hand a little it goes right away. I do want to try a pair of gel gloves to see if that makes a difference.
