I'm looking at buying a 2007-2009 Dyna Custom. I gotta ask, why are people selling these used bikes for more or at least the same price as a new 2009? I don't mean overly customized bikes either. Maybe a couple of things, windshield and or&nbsp\\;back rest. I've been watching e-bay just to get an idea. None ever make the reserve and in fact when they do get past the Kelly Blue Book,&nbsp\\;they still don't sell. Why would I pay the same as I can get a new one for? Am I missing something?

 

Most of the sellers are RUBS.&nbsp\\; Odds are they paid way over MSRP and now they think they can sell a used garage queen for over msrp....wrong.&nbsp\\; Keep looking, there are nice bikes out there $1000s below msrp.

 

Dunno , when I bought my 07 Ultra , started looking at 03 &amp\\; 04 Ultras and road glides&nbsp\\; ....price dif was only about $2500 , for new with warranty ) miles vs used with 25-43K on the clock , wasn't a tough decision to do new.

 

your best bet is to find a new 2008 on a dealer show room and work a hell of a deal.&nbsp\\;

 

Price of used Harleys on ebay always makes me do a double take

 

I know a moco salesman who purchases them and sells them privately for more on the side and later

 

I think the ebay sellers are just trolling for a big sucker.

Because they can,there are people that will pay the price.We frugal ones will not!
