Just watched a guy dump his EG
Yup. I was in a grocery store parking lot. Had my hands full of groceries. A guy fired up his Great looking EG and started pulling out of his parking spot. He leaned it left and killed the engine. Got his foot down, but it was too heavy for him. Bike layed over. The engine guards kept the damage to a minimum. I b-lined it over to help him get it up but that dude was in a big hurry to get out of there. He stood that bike up fast. Some kid yelled out "Oh... Dude!" And someone else hollered to ask if he was OK. Neither of these remarks helped the guy's pride. I think his ego took a big hit but that is the extend of the damage.
Not the best story on HDF, but a story none-the-less.

Man that must be horrible.
My first bike I was drunk and knocked it over 3 times and some guys jumped out of their car to help and I yelled for them to get away, all because I was too embarrassed to have them help. This was a bike I paid $1000 for. I can't imagine what that must feel like with that bike and perfect sober.

Pulled up to the mail box to let the wife off and where the asphalt meets the grass is a little down hill 3 maybe 4 inches . Already had the front wheel turned to the right. Too much front break and over it went. hiway peg hit in the front bag guard hit in the back. A redneck in a 4x4 going by stopped and helped me get it back up right. No damage to the bike but to my ego well you know... So I know how that guy felt.
For me, it happened to my 93 Goldwing. I was in Seattle with my girlfriend, waiting to get on one of their ferry's. We were parked in the motorcycle area and standing next to the bike, talking. The bike was sitting on the side stand. I decided to pull the map out of the trunk to double check where we were going. As it turns out, the bike was pointed down a very slight incline. When I popped the trunk open I pushed "just" enough for the bike to roll forward and fall off the side stand. It was the first time that happened and I was beet red. Some guy offered to help me pick it up and my ego got in the way big time. I tried lifting it but the bike was fully loaded and there was no way. The dude just stood there and it didn't take long for me to change my mind.
Fortunately, there wasn't a scratch on the bike.
We all fall into two catagories, those who have and those who are going to!
