Cool Dip Dots

I've been doing a lot of traveling lately and checking out the HD stealerships across the country. I've been picking up "dip dots"/ look 'em up on line if you dont know what they are/ from each HD dealer I visit to add to my collection (a lot cheaper than buying a $30 t-shirt each time I visit a new dealer), every dealer is different, prices vary from free to as high as $4.95 for one. Last week I was at a dealer in So.Cal., asked for one and they gave me a handful no charge! Today I was at a South West dealer and was charged $4.95! It may be lame to rant about a few bucks but there's just no consistancy. I don't expect to get these for free, but WTF? It's no wonder some of these dealers got bad reps, I just had to rant!!!

I might be stupid, but Ihad never even heard of Dip Dots before. Now I will have to start collecting some myself.

They're pretty cool but I found collecting dealer pins to be better for my need and they run about the same price.

We collect them too. I have a shadow box frame that I covered the backside of in leather and we glue the dots to it. If the dealer does not have the dots we try to get a pin.

I wish they had one at a Texas dealer that fit on the Oil dip stick center for the touring model. Id put it in the bike.

dealers used to put them on your bike anytime you went in for an oil change.
They were always on new on resale bikes from where you bought them

Is that a thing kinda like folks who pull Airstream travel trailers and put a decal on the back for every State they travel through?
