Maybe I shouldn't say this, but Kawasaki has stuff called KawaChem. It has rainex built in it and it works great. DO NOT use it on colored plastic. When I bought my Windvest windscreen they have me Novus #1. It helps the shield from getting scratched. Meguires has good stuff, too. There's a stuff called Plexus that's a cleaner/polish and will help prevent the scratches. When you travel carry a small spray bottle on windshield cleaner, diluted as necessary and your own cloths to clean your screen rather than the crap or lack of it at gas stations

depding on how deep the scratch is... you can heat lexan it has memory... and can go back... i have also used nail polish (clear) and then buff to blend or make it go away... deep scratches i heat... do not use to much heat as you can burn it... my dad and brother own 3 optical clinics... all sorts of cool ways to fix glass, lexan and other matirals used in shields

NEVER USE RAINEX on a shield!! EVER EVER EVER! you need a patrolium based product, anything else will RUIN your shield!!!!

Polishing compound works great on plastic headlight lenses and MC windshields...
