Reverse gas pumps
Recently I saw something that mad me thing "Oh those sneaky big oil companies, theyve found another way to sting you"
Let me explain.
Since as far back as I can remember, the buttons on the gas pumps for grade selection have been in order from left to right, 87,89,91 octane.
That such a common arrangement that I bet most people dont look at it.
Recently thought Ive seen some stations where the buttons have been arranged 91,89,87 octane, so if you are not doing due diligence at your fill up you pay 20 cents more a gallon, whether or not you want to.
I have to believe this is a sneak-theif thing the oil companies thought up to gouge us, theres really no other reason to change the order of the buttons.
What could really be a problem is if somebody who needs premium gets a tank of regular. That could really cause problems.
So far the offenders are:
1)Chevron
2)On the Run
Feel free to cut and repaste or email this post.

Probably a holdover from their UK operation. All pumps are color-coded that way over here. Old Regular gas nozzles are red, too, when you can find them.
