hmmmmmm around here, you're likely to find the grades in ANY order... thus the "if you can read this, thank a teacher" bumper sticker.

With all due respect, I strongly suggest you READ before selecting a fuel grade..... yes, I agree, it's an awful imposition on your busy schedule.

"Originally" we were "European" (English) based. As such, English is read left to right.
Beings the Chinese own a majority of "US" (U.S. or us, whichever), they, read, right to left.
The gas stations have begun converting over to the 'new' language, that's all that is happening.
NOTHING to get your thong in a bunch over.

NO, NOT REALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

But let me guess. You DO LIKE the idea of a "New World Order", where everything and everyone is 'standardized'. The Gubment can 'solve' that prob, too. What prob is that??? Ppl who can't, won't, or don't take the time to read English, that is right in front of them.
I think the term is 'personal responsibility'. That means that the owner of said motorcycle is 'personally responsible' for what gets put into the gas tank.

"Someone PLEASE grab that spoon, and feed me pablum. I am starving here."

EVEN if it was a 'scam' by the oil cos., OPEN your eyes, use your God given ability to read and think, and the scam is NO THREAT to you. ONLY those who walk thru life with their eyes closed and brain clutch lever, pulled in.

Have I been caught in that 'trap'?? (Not just the gas pump trap) Yes, I have, BUT it was because I was NOT doing my part. I, too, in those instances, had my eyes closed, and brain disengaged.
BUT I get mad at MYSELF, not the other person/company. Pay attention and THINK, Dammit Gumby. Again, personal responsibility.

That is 'actually' the prob up here with the last election, and WHY our senate race is in it's 4th month in the courts. YES, I want everyone's vote to count. BUT along with that 'right' to vote, comes the responsibilty to know how to vote, and who you are voting for. IF you do not know how to fill in the li'l circles on the ballot, your vote is gonna go bye-bye. I do not believe expecting ppl to know how to read a ballot, or a gas pump, is "aksing" too much, if you want to have access to that kind of life, and ALL the 'niceties' that go with it. There is a certain amount of responsibility that goes with the territory.

"Hi, I'm from the Gubment, and I am here to help you."
"The check is in the mail."
"Well, of course I'll respect you in the morning."
Of the three, the ONLY one that MAY possibly be the truth, is the last one.

Most people's "VISUAL AWARENESS" is real bad. Normal people don't see/notice a lot of things. Most people are conditioned/wired to only see what they expect to see. Countless human behavior experiments have proven this. Here's a few;

1) a group was ask to watch a video tape & count the number of passes a basketball team made, during the action a woman in a gorilla suit walked out, stood there & looked into the camera. Half the observers didn't remember seeing the gorilla.

2) a group was ask by a blond haired man wearing a yellow shirt to fill out a form. After which he took the completed forms into another room. Another man, dark haired wearing a blue shirt came out of the room. 3/4 of the group had no idea they interacted w/ two different men.

3) a group of commercial pilots was ask to make several routine landings in a flight simulator. At a point into the experiment, researchers added an image of a big commercial airplane parked right on the runway, something the pilots never expected to see. 1/4 of the pilots landed right on top of the parked plane, they never saw it.

4) So back to the "right to left" gas pumps & the green/black pump handles. A married couple I know, both have years of riding stopped into get gas. He went to the restroom while she filled both tanks with diesel with the black handle. They lost the riding day & had their bikes towed to the dealer.

So don't think people are just stupid for sometimes making what sound like dumb mistakes. It is either how we're conditioned or maybe how our brains are wired.

p.s. quit ****ing around & get Norm Coleman over to Washington where he belongs.

S&H Green stamps, I presume.
My brother and I both worked at a Champlin station in my hometown out in SoDak. DIDN'T want to forget those Green stamps when the ladies pulled in. And IF you had a hankering for a certain young lady, WELL, of course, her Mom got EXTRA green stamps when she came in for a fill'er up. Who said you can't BUY LOVE?

"You know, that 'kid' at the Champlin station? Such a NICE YOUNG man." WE BE HALF WAY to second base with the daughter. MUST be a decent guy, MOM SAID SO.

I seriously doubt there is anything sinister here - it's probably a matter of what grade is in what underground tank. Depending on sales, a station might buy more mid-grade than regular, etc.

If the tanks are different sizes, you might need to re-arrange the grades on the pump to reflect what is in what tank.

In any event, NBFD - just read the button.
