Blow dryer (with care) can soften the glue facilitating removal. Afterwards, use goo-gone to remove any remaining glue residue.

"Oops" is the best I've seen at removing things like that. But be sure to wash the area and wax it immediately after getting all the glue off.

I also suggest a blow dryer to soften the decal and Goo Gone to remove any residual adhesive. Take your time and don't scrape the paint too hard.

Yethir, heat gun, and Goo Gone. OOPS is a li'l 'stronger' than Goo Gone, try it second, BUT believe Goo Gone is more than adequate for your job.

DO NOT PUT ANY CHEMICALS ON YOUR PAINT! Got it? Get a heat gun and carefully heat up the area while removing the decals. I remove decals on allmy vehicals the day I get them. I am actually yet to do the harley but have taken them off both my trucks. Take your time heating the area a little at a time as to be careful not to bubble the paint. the decals are glorified stickers so they will come off. Once they are off, use oops, goo gone or goof off to remove the extra glue but immediately rinse the area with water. I would rather see you use wax to remove the remaining glue of there is any.
