My wife did great (we actually took the MSF together)! She decided after our first longer ride that she had more interest in being a passenger. She'd still ride sometimes, but once I bought the EG she decided she liked it better on back, where she could nap if she felt the need!

A large ditch full of water jumped up and grabbed her. She didn't get hurt and she decided to go back to being a passenger. I was OK with this as I believe she was only learning to ride to please me anyway.

She did great in the coarse. I took it with her and she got the same score on the riding part as I did. I think I beat her an the written test though???
We ended up getting her an 883 Sportster Low. She is only 5' and that was what she wanted to start out on. She rode it for a little while but ended up dumping it twice. She just didn't have enough legs to keep it up at certain angles when stopping.
I ended up riding the thing for about year. I also had a Softail so the sporty didn't get a lot of attention. It was finally decided to let it go.

Mine is a natural born rider, Does a fantastic job and hangs right with the big boys on her 883, She has outgrown the 883 and has her sights set on a Deluxe.

My wife signed up for the class but was bummed that it was 6 weeks away. I took her to the DMV to get her permit and when she got it I bought her a bike. She canceled the class 3 times. We went back to the DMV, she took the test and got her license.
That was several years ago, she is still riding and loving it.
She signed up for the class again this year, wonder if she'll actually take it.
