I don't see the need for it unless your running a high compresion motor. A stock motor runs good on 87 octane. The higher the compresion the more need for higher octane. I have a stock twin cam and run 89 octane with no pinging and no preignition problems at all. I don't think it will hurt it but just don't see the need to spend the extra $$ for it. MHO

no it will not hurt your bike but it probably not give you better performance I have run it on the street and on the dyno although I know guys who think it makes a lot of diffrence but I lost 3 hp on the dyno tq stayed the same, pipes usualy burn a little white inside if you try it not to worry I know guys who run it alot but more octane does not mean more energy.
