Default New Hampshire helmet law, heads up

Sent BY MMA,

Monday, January 4, 2010

Hello MMA:

Our friends from the New Hampshire Motorcyclists’ Rights Organization (NHMRO) have alerted us that 2 bills have been filed that they intend to fight:

- HB 1162 would make it Mandatory to wear Motorcycle Helmets
- HB 1261 would require an EPA Sticker\Stamp on your motorcycle exhaust

They have a special meeting planned for Sunday, January 10th at 1:30PM, at the Deerhead Sportsmen’s Club in Hooksett, NH to discuss these Bills.

Public Hearings have been scheduled for Thursday, January 28th at 10:30AM, at the Representative’s Hall, Concord NH State House.

The MMA is planning to attend both the meeting as well as the Hearings to support NHMRO. Any MMA member who also would like to preserve Freedom of Choice while motorcycle riding in New Hampshire is encouraged to attend.

For more information, please contact LegislativeDirector@MassMotorcycle.org or go to the MMA’s Web Site: www.MassMotorcycle.org

It's sad.

I remember when "Live free or die" actually meant something to the people of New Hampshire.

Its like being pecked to death by ducks, so many little stupid things they come up with.

Just this month no open carry of firearms in state house, introduction of an income tax for LLC.'s and new assessment laws that basically ignore the privacy rights of property owners and now this for the second or third time.

Just sick of it, the free state folks are looking more and more reasonable, cause both the dems and reps suck.

Don't worry, they're going to save you from yourself. Won't be long before NH is just as bad as MA and you'll have to have a sales tax and income tax to afford the bloated, useless goverment that tries to f*** you every day of the week.

Oh, Here comes the Sinners after us, Motorcyclist's Asses !. Any motto given by The State, City, Village or Town uses in the past is completely gone. Good Ol' USA's never going to be the same ever again.

Bring on the Electric Motorcycles if you, The Evil Politicians are going to give a damn about our precious and beloved riding hobby.

I'm originally from N.H. and that is sad to hear.

I remember celebrating the last repeal of the helmet up there.

Anybody remember " The Lost Lid Boogie?"
