Need help wiring my new Headlight
Hello All,
I have a 08 Dyna, I want to replace my stock headlight with an aftermarket bullet light I already purchased. Problem is that the stock headlight has 3 wires (yellow, black and white). The aftermarket light has 3 wires but they are ( white, green and blue). I have no idea which wire connect where.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

One is going to be common (ground), the other two are for HI & Low.
Stock, Black is ground.
After market green is probably ground
touch the green(negative) and blue(positive) to your battery, and compare it to the green(negative) and white(positive).
while testing the brightest combo, touch the third wire to negative, if the light dims green ain't ground.

If I remember right white is one beam, blue is the other, green is ground.
Oh most Harleys yellow is one beam, white is the other, blk is ground. it is easy to tell.
usually you can tell which is high beam holding the light as you would mount it on the bike then which beam looks more elevated is high...I just did this tonight as well to figure out which wire on the bulb was the high beam.
The high beam shines higher up than the other. At least with my H4 bosch lamp it does.
