Veteran Special Edition Harley??
They make a Firefighter, Police, Shriner, and Peace officer version. Have they ever considered a Veteran SE ?
I saw a one-of-a-kind for Army and Marines in a raffle. I just wondered if one would sell, since a large percent of riders are Vets. It would be too much to ask to have one for each branch, so one that would be liked by all would be a challenge.

If I remember right, they did have special Military editions a couple of years ago. I remember the Army paint scheme was a dark olive green and I remember tanks painted on the tank with a Soldier's silhouette on the gas tank and there was something on the horn cover. The Air Force version has a fighter jet and a silhoutte. I believe there was also a Navy version. There was more to these paint schemes but that is the gist of them. They also used the appropriate Military emblems on the primary and in various locations (these parts can now be purchased separately) on the bikes.

Won't work! I seen them in the Nam and their equipment, APC's, tracks off, leaking oil and smoking but as long as they could move it they used it. Didn't whine around and wait for maintenance to come around a make it picture perfect or stop a mission because of questionable equipment!
Can't you imagine their motor's Cycles after a few years, then again the AMF Harley's would have suited them to a T.

ummmmmmmmmm.....what the **** did you just say??
he said "if he had a VET SPECIAL, he'd let it go to **** and not perform the necessary maintenance - just like he did back in 'Nam."
or at least I think that's what he said.
that or, "HE STAYED IN A HOLIDAY INN LAST NIGHT"

I'm not sure he's right. I spent two year there and never "seen" one
(sounds like he's still there)
