Will a Reach seat ruin the look of a Fatbob?
Need to get nearer the foot controls as its a bit of a stretch but somebody on another forum said the reach seat ruins the lines of the Fatbob - Is this true?

[sarcastic reply] And you have 332 posts? What did you say?
[bored reply] It's just a seat.
[humorous reply] Depends how fat your wife is.
[logical reply] It's a wider seat. It will look wider.
[sympathetic reply] Yes, it'll ruin the look. Better you just stay uncomfortable. (Or was that another sarcastic? I get confused easily)
Run the seat that you want to run. Don't worry about what people on a forum think about your "lines".
You owe me a beer.

Best way to find out is put one on and see what ya think. If it looks good to you then it don't ruin the look. If you don't like the way it looks then it does ruin the look. I'm thinkin if you are wanting to own a piece of art ya should have bought a picture instead of Motorcycle. Would have been allot cheaper. But that's just my opinion...Don't mean I'm right.

My wife's superglide has one on it. I am not going to say it is the best looking seat on the market, but I dont feel that it hurts the appearance of the bike. The canvas like texture to the top actually looks pretty cool and it keeps you in place well. Personally I think the seat is darn near rock hard and uncomfortable. Because it moves you forward the seat is shorter (front to back) and puts you just in that position that every time you hit a bump your boys will bounce on the seat. Not exactly a comfortable feeling in my opinion. We have never used the passenger portion but it doesnt look too comfortable.
A buddy of mine has a superglide and had both his factory seat and his sundowner trimmed to lower him. It wasnt expensive. An upholstery shop can pretty easily modify the foam in your seat to adjust your riding position.
