Do it yourself and have the satisfaction of knowing you worked on your own bike. Plus extra $$$ stays in YOUR pocket.

You can get Burly brand apes and all wiring and cables for $300.00 of of Ebay with free shipping. When it warms up enough I can move my fingers in my garage I will get them on and post pics.

Just...

1: intsalling only bars? or 2: bars and cables? or 3: bars cables and internal wiring?

Gonna make a big difference depending on the above three options.

Cheers.

I made my bike from this

To this

In about 4 hours, first time ever changin bars, internal wired em. And that includes time driving to a bike place to get a new o ring and oil for doing the clutch cable.

I'd say do it yourself. I did it all by just lookin at it in my backyard all apart with a solder gun, shrink wrap and some basic hand tools.

Well, it depends on what bike you ride. Is it a touring model? I agree that you should do it yourself, but most Harley Dealers charge about 8 hours for that swap. An indy would do it cheaper. Let em know if you need pricing on anything. I can take care of whatever you need.

If you have a shop do it, it's around $1000 for bars, wiring, cables and labor.

Sad but true. Plenty of people have posted over a thousand dollars to install custom handlebars.

Depends on what bike, but after you add up the parts, tack on at least another $500 to $700 for labor maybe even more depending on the hourly rate.
