Hehe.... actually have two on my rigid.. split tank.. havta fill each side.

 

I stopped when one side was full about 6 years ago. Then ran out a few hours later, and had 2 fellow family member riders alongside laughing because we all filled up at the same time. Lesson learned, check both sides, lmao. My sporty transfers gas over real quick, it isn't as bad as the ironhead I had 5 years ago or so.

Because in right hand drive countries like the Brittish, Auzi's and Kiwi's they have to have thier kickstands on the right side of the bike . . .

 

Ones for gas, ones for stash.

 

If my Ultra had it on the right side only and I pulled up with the pump on the left side, I doubt the hose would reach all the way around, so that's why they put just one in the middle on the big bikes...

Plug off the cross tube and put beer in the other side, pull out a straw and drink. (ever drink a beer threw a straw? Me either)

 

That doesn't make sense. It can't be more than what 10 inches difference between the caps? And the hoses are long enough to reach down inside the back of a pickup truck!
