Default Peed on

Keep getting gas on the tank, seems a little spurts out of the pump RIGHT before the nozzle gets in the tank.

Now when I pick up the nozzle I point it at the ground and lower it below the tank level first, let the gas splash all over the station and not my bike.

I always try to shake it off first, and then use the gas cap upside down to catch any spillage before and after topping off the tank.

I think that's what is known as "sloppy seconds". [:-]

Use your gas cap. But then we need to bring back the thread on "where do you put your gas cap while fueling".

Based on the title, I was going to recommend the "showdown forum".

What I do is tilt the nozzle up till it is over the hole. Then rotate it down into the hole. I have never spilled a drop on the tank. When finished fueling I rotate the nozzle up and out.
