At first same here, now I just hold the nozzle sideways and up slightly, then just lay it into tank not wasting a drop.

Try to always find a "newer" pump. They tend to have better pressure and don't dribble. Also, I always get a paper towel and hold it over the nozzle end as I tilt it into the tank and cover the end of the nozzle when I take it out. Your hand may smell like gas, but it's better than on your tank. You will also probably leave the station with "nozzle" envy.

What I do is tilt the nozzle up till it is over the hole. Then rotate it down into the hole. I have never spilled a drop on the tank. When finished fueling I rotate the nozzle up and out.

Grab a paper towel, most stations have them, and hold it under the spout to catch drips and wipe any splashes.

Its not the little dribbles at the end that bother me most, couple of shakes takes care of that. I'm talking about the full on premature, uh, dispensing of an ounce or so of fuel before you, uh, get it in.

Holy Chit, piglet, obviously theS.O. doesn't read this FORUM. Momma gets upset if I even mention weight, let alone call her a t**k, Geez.
Just point it toward the ground to ensure any left over dribbles from the last 'dribbler' are expelled from the petroleum nozzle prior to placing it in the petroleum storage device on the petroleum burning device I am riding at the time.
Course, I guess you could ask the 'tank' to do a 'vacuum' job on the 'nozzle' B4 you 'tilt it into the hole'. BUT I still think I would try a li'l different 'phrasology' with her, JMFUO, tho.
