I have a 2005 FXDCI that has a non locking gas cap, and I am wondering if anyone out there has ever found a locking gas cap that will fit this aviation type system? Thanks
Just my $.02 on locking caps. I have at most $20 worth of gas in that bike, if it's full. If some thief wants that gas badly enough he'll pry off a locker (or at least try)and ruin my gas tank while he's at it.
Now I'm out the price of the locker and a new tank and the labor to replace it.
I think the concern is not someone stealing gas, for that all they need to do is cut the crossover line and bring a bucket. The concern is some fool trying to add something to the fuel tank.
