Hold your gas
Reminds me of the days back in 1973 when the price of gas shot up from 17 cents or so per gallon. In those days no one had locking gas caps or fill-up doors that could be released only from inside the vehicle. But within a few years, locking the gas cap was standard.
Hmmm. At the rate things are going in this economy, it ain't gonna be pretty.
Anyone remember about 1973 or so when the stations were completely OUT OF GAS?
THAT was a serious pain in the ***. Waiting in lines for hours, only to find that if you were lucky you could buy 10 gallons.
If you werent lucky you might find that you waited and the station ran OUT of gas. I had a 5 gallon can in the trunk and would fill it if the station would let me.
Major suckage. At least the supply is keeping up for now.
The good thing is they used to wash your windows for you.
Damn, I feel old.

Was a cheap way to help my piece of mind. We live in a pretty good neighborhood, but I know that broke teenagers get a little crazy sometimes - so better safe than sorry. The way I see it, it's better for someone to see the locking cap & move-on to the next car...rather than being out in my driveway for a few minutes making noise and end-up catching a bullet.
More and more people are very concerned about where this economy is heading. The politicians seem not willing to make any change. Why should they their cost of living raises are all automatic.
Yep. How longdo you think it's been sinceGeorge W. pumped his own gas?
Just wait till the tax cut gets voted down by the dems when it comes up again(if and when)then all the Dems out there will really be happy with all thehigher taxes youll be paying....and gas will get higher.WHY..The dems like taxes and they want to run yor life because they know whats best for you...Man it makes me sick.....

As much as I dont like the price hikes, there is a ton of bitchin and moaning about gas.

I put a locking cap on my Silverado about a month ago.
