yep, my ol lady got a job so that means all the money i'm making on my deployment is going toward getting the new HD i want. With the job market the way it is in GA i'm proud of her for keeping up the effort.

Life is a lot easy with a good OL. Mine never even blinks when I bring another bike home. I did just buy her a new(er) house.

I hear ya. Mine bought me my current bike. All her life, she's wanted to live lake front. About six years ago, I made that happen on Tellico Lake here in East TN...about two months later, she bought me a spankin new Softail Deluxe. I think she's a keeper!

To the OP...congrats to your wife on the job, and keeping my fingers crossed for ya getting that bike.

I had my eyes on the softail custom but after thinking about it some more I think i'm gonna go with a touring bike. I'll be doing a lot of long distance. Still have to test ride some when i get back just to be sure though. Looking at the Street Glide now.

Congrats to you and your girl. You will love a Street Glide. I can't imagine not owning one now, but I also loved every other HD I have owned too. You can't go wrong, just find what fits you best. A lot of guys here prefer the Heritage or Deluxe as a touring bike more than the touring line itself. Good luck!
