I something special about that helmet?

Call the manufacturer. See if they will do it. I don't think you will find an indy that will touch it.

I just send my helmet to Hell Mutts. I should have it back in a few days. I'll post pics when I get it. There are a few other guys who reline helmets but then pull out all the styrofoam and just use a soft foam liner.

good question,i have seen some nice vintage helmets and wandered about the interior restoration too!

Buy another helmet Tightwad. Won't pass DOT standards. Like any thing else that gets restored, you'll have more $$$ in it than what you could have bought a new one for.

Got my helmet back today. They did a kick *** job relining it. I also got a new hellmutts helmet bag too. They put new snaps and a new chrome band on the helmet in addition to the relining. This Helmet if more comfortable then my girlfriends Fullmer V2.
