Question *** is killing me, need a seat pad - any good ones out there?

Hey guys,

I got my bike last year and I've done almost 10 k miles since then. I've come to the conclusion that on long rides my stock seat blows. I have a pretty big trip coming up this summer and want to be prepared. I'm looking for a seat pad or cushion to make me more comfortable.

What do you guys use/recommend?

I'd skip the seat pad and just get a new seat.

Check these out, probably a little cheaper than a new seat. There is a 30 money back.

Can't speak to the covers specifically but the other stuff I got from them has been top notch. I've been thinking of the sheepskin for summer.

Totally agree with this.
Check out Mustang seats. The comfort factor is incredible.

Cheers,

Tom

If you can use a stapler you can refoam your seat. Find foam rubber store in your area or gel pad. Take your seat off and turn it over. You will see staples unstaple half (Front or Back) at a time. Cut foam to fit and restaple. Do the same thing to other half if you like.

Myself I use 4" soft foam.
