.08 Is the limit here in Oh-over that and your drunk driving and you get a DUI. Old drivers are bad enough with out drinking. That guy might as well had a gun and and start shooting it randomly-it's not if-it's when are you going to hit someone.

In my business, I am at the local tag office (where they issue automobile operators licenses in Oklahoma) quite often. It always amazes me the elderly getting their licenses re-newed.

Hell it takes them 10 minutes to go from the parking lot to the door...I can't imagine how degraded their motor functions are much less vision and hearing.

I think a mandatory re-testing; including vision, hearing, physical (similar to DOT), and driving once a person reaches a certain age. Driving is not a right, it is a privilege and a responsibility.

 

Anyone over 80 should be on a restricted license....Vespas only!
