What do ya think Streetglide vs Electraglide

What are you using it for? What is your riding style?
There is always the option of an EG standard if you don't mind giving up the radio, even a police bike, save a ton of$$$ that way and get some motor upgrades.
If you are comparing an EG Classic to a SG, well to me it's a no brainer for the EG Classic, but that's the type of guy I am, more for the same money seems like a better deal. If you are buying a touring bike to tour, then the classic is the way to go. Of course the RG is also an option for about the same. In the long run I would pick the RG.
Like Scasey said, rent them for half a day each, ride like you usually ride, and decide which one you like better. Spending a few hundred on rentals is better than dropping $20g and deciding you don't like the bike.

What year? I would probably go with the EG. I like the dual exhaust and extras the EG has. It seems kind of dumb you pay more or about the same for a stripped down EG. The SG does look mean as hell in denim though.

i have been thinking about the diff between the ultra classic, electra glide, and street glide as those are the bikes iam looking at when i pay off the one i have and here is my opinion.
I love the street glide but id also like to have the tour pack for long hauls. So i look at it this way i could buy a ultra or electra take off the chrome saddle bag covers and the tour pack and have a street glide cheaper than i can buy a street glide and add all those items later shoot if you decide later you want a tour pack that is high dollar item to add later.

I want a Strret Glide myself, in my opinon the EG is a nice bike, however I like the style of the Street Glide. Maybe when I get older and the wife wants to go on a ride across the country I will be more interested in the EG.

Get the Ultra and take off what you don't need or want. I can almost guarantee you will want those parts back on at a later time unless you're going for a custom bagger with solo seat.
