Not to be inflamatory but if money were no object, would you go for the CVO version of your bike for the additional 50 to 60 percent on the price? They are beautiful but damn.. the Ultra is $36K! as opposed to mine which was 22K. Maybe it's better to pick and choose add ons to make the bike yours.. or is it better to just get the super luxury version?
Curious what you guys think of the whole CVO program and their cost. thanks.

I have one of the first CVO bikes made (2000 Roadglide) and I love it. I would buy a new Ultra CVO if money were no object. Unfortunately, money is an object so, no new bike for me this year.

The CVO's sure look good, but I'd still make several changes.

I think I'd start with a regular, and upgrade.

They don't make a CVO version of my bike, but if money were no object, I buy a SE Dyna in a heart beat.

If money were no object, of COURSE I would buy the CVO Version. Think they would do up a SE Ultra in Vivid Black??

Mine is on order. I think when you factor in resale of a SE vs. resale of a modified stock model they are worth it. If you sell a stock bike that has been modified you usually lose the value of the modifications. With a SE, because they have a seperate classification in most blue books, you do not lose the added cost of buying the SE. It doesnt really matter to me. I wanted a new bike anyway and that 110 6speed was too hard to resist.

If money werent an issue I would NOT buy a CVO.... I like the idea of buying a regular $20,000 touring bike and upgrade it as I see fit..... Plus it doesnt hurt learning about your bike by installing the items yourself..... you'll be glad our framiliar should the day ever come when your stuck along side the road w/ a maintenance issue

Gotta agree with all the others! MONEY seems to be the problem, cause I'de sure go out and get a cvo model today if I could. I guess I'll just have to dress mine up the way I want it, pay it off and get another one!!
