Default Changing oil on a 2005 Deluxe???

I drained from the oil tank now want to drain the oil in the motor. I don't have the service book yet I ordered already just waiting for it to arrive. I am changing now because its killer riding and I have no idea what the other owner used.

Please if you can tell me all the drain points for the model. Thank you very much in advance

There is no oil in the motor......Just put the oil back in the oil tank and change the filter. Good to go.

Do not pull any plugs from the bottom of the motor except the drain plug that is on the brake side of the frame. The plugs located underneath and on the case are better left alone. There are a few systems for draining all of the residual oil but I don't use one. I change my oil at 2500 miles and use good synthetic oil so the little oil left in the case doesn't matter to me.

To say there is no oil is not accurate, there is about a 28 oz left behind after a change...

One option to change all the oil

I made my own for about 10 buxs

Do you think they do all that at the dealer? NOT. It's an **** unnecessary waste of time.

I was replying to the oil sucker drainer tool that drains money from peoples' wallets. Just drain your oil tank and change your filter.
