Due to really aggravating circumstances that I wont explain here, I've been without a bike the last few weeks. (after having three at a time on occasion) So to make life right again, I pulled some cash and bought an affordable Heritage Softail. It's a nice step away from technology as a 2000 model with this thing called a carburetor. The bike is incredibly clean and runs really strong. The last owner left a lot of extras on the bike, and with the addition of some of the stuff I saved from past bikes it's looking good. Here's a pic upon first arrival in it's new home.
The "test ride" - since I'd already paid, and the ride home across the Columbia river was awesome - and a tad cold at 26 degrees. Reminded me how much I've missed my Heritage from 2006.
