I just crossed this very road, So i bought a sporty to ride to work and around town, i wanted to ride alot more than i was but i didnt want to ride the ultra to work because i work at a chemical company and didnt want to get stuff all over it. So now i have the best of both worlds. Take your time and get it when the time is right!!

That pretty much sums it up for me. Neither my 09 Street Glide or my 01 Dyna FXDXT sits though. I get plenty of riding time in on both. But for some reason every time I ride one, I constantly think how much I love this bike I'm on, and start planning to sell the other one. Then I ride that one and think no way could I get rid of this bike! So I start planning to sell the other one. Really I don't NEED both of these because they both would serve my needs. They both have fairings and bags and short windscreens and are both fully capable of commuting, round town cruising, and long range touring. But the Street Glide leans more towards touring, and the Dyna for blasting around town.

Yes,not a thing wrong with that as long as the bikes(could be either one) sitting are taken care of.Both my bikes have the Fitch fuel catalysts in the tanks,Tenders always on the batteries.Always keep a check on oil levels, tire pressure, belt tension, clutch adjustments all the required stuff.

Well with me my XL50 sits alot more now that I have the C since the C is set up for 2up riding and the XL50 has a solo seat. I ride 2up 95% of the time so the C gets used alot more.

Have two bikes. Ride the 05 Heritage 90% of the time. Ride the 1962 BSA A10 the other times. Mostly with some friends that have vintage rides also. Both bikes get lots of attention no matter where we go.

My 02 Lowrider sits alot more lately. I've been riding my FLHT and my wife sometimes doesn't either feel well enough to ride, or just hops on the back with me.
