I'm only 51 and have both a sporty and an ultra, that way I have the best of both worlds depending on my mood for the day.

Sounds lame but i could ride a bike from each family and be happy. Nightster is cool for bar hoppin, softails for whatever and like a bagger for a long haul.

At 27 got my bones and it was right choice, but would love to have bagger as well for over night trips.

42 and ride an STC, and love it.

I wanted a Dyna Wide Glide, but for the wife's comfort I went with the Classic.

I got my 09 Road King at 37. It's a touring bike, but I put a small solo seat (HD Brawler) on it and am planning to put apes on it soon. I like a dressed down big bike.

I would like a Street Bob for bar hopping and commuting, though.

Wink Personal preference.

Unless the ride decision is medically necessary, it's all personal preference. 64 and ride an 05 Deuce. Wouldn't ride anything else. Hurts my old back to shine all that chrome though.

Well I am 33 and own a Ultra for the trips. It's an amazing bike. I do also own a custom built rigid frame bike and an old 84 Harley that I have tweaked on for years. So it's all preference.

But I can say that even though I used to say I would wait til I was older to get a Ultra and called them geezer glides etc. I have not regretted it one bit.

It's called wisdom, it takes some longer than others to get there, that's all.

I see wisdom still hasn't helped you not to repeat your posts 2 times within the same minute though .
